Homework Policy

I believe that homework is a learning tool. I do not grade homework. Students receive credit for homework that is complete and neatly done. In grades 6-8, homework is 15% of their final grade.  A student loses points for homework that is missing or incomplete.

Students usually have math homework four nights a week.

Grading Policy

In grades 6-8, Quiz and test grades are 75% of a student's grade (one test equal two quizes). 15% of the grade is homework and 10% is class participation.
In the Algebra class, 80% is test and quiz grades, 10% is homework and 10% is class participation.

Class Requirements

1.  Math work must be done in pencil on loose-leaf
    paper.
2.  Students must have with them their basic supplies
(pencils, ruler, paper, correcting pen and
    assignment notebook)
3.  All assignment should be recorded in their
    assignment notebook.
