Just in case your having difficulty writing an open response for my homework questions please follow the following writing strategies:

1.)  State an opinion to to whether you agree or disagree.  Use the words in the question to reinstate a topic sentence.
2.) Provide examples to support your opinion.  For example use an historical reference from what maybe you learned that day or in a past class.  Try finishing off with a modern reference to help tie the knot with the past and the present to help complete your full response.
3.)  Always review and proofread your work for grammar and spelling errors.  Your skills will only improve with practice.  The best way to proofread is to complete your answer and move away from it for 15 minutes.  Usually returning to it later on ecan find mistakes that they couldn't find earlier when writing down the answer.  Or, if you can, have someone else read and make comments or ask questions regarding your response.
