A reminder to seniors that the ‘Senior Field Day’ will take place this Friday, Sept. 16th at Frothingham Park.
Seniors are reminded to wear your Red & White class colors for the Senior Yearbook picture at Field Day on Friday.
All students must have a school issued blue or red combination lock on their locker by Friday, September 16.
After that date a backwards lock will be placed on all lockers without an official lock.
All other locks will be cut off and replaced with a school lock.
There will be a meeting of all community service students who are participating in the
program for either the full year or for the first semester. The meeting will take place
Wednesday, September 14 during period 1 in the cafeteria. Attendance is mandatory.
Mr. Paul and Mr. Brockman will be covering ground rules and additional information
will be distributed.
Attention students interested in attending the school trip to Washington D.C. this year. The first meeting to discuss the trip, costs and fundraising will be immediately after school today in Miss Smith's room 208.
The SAT class will begin on Wednesday September 21 at 5pm. Registration forms may be picked up in the office or guidance. Please see Mrs. Nicholson or Mrs. Romans with questions.

The first meeting of the Oliver Ames High School Drama Club will be held on Wednesday, September 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the auditorium. The drama club is open to any students interested in acting, stage crew, set design, musical productions, costumes, and/or properties. During Wednesday's meeting, this year's officers will be elected and information will be available about the December production of "Thirteen Past Midnight." If you are unable to attend the meeting and are interested in participating in the production, please see Peggy Wentworth in room 110.
The Oliver Ames Gay Straight Alliance will hold its first meeting on Thursday Sept. 15 at 2:10 in room 224. All are welcome! Please see Mrs. Hadge if you have any questions.

Freshmen interested in running for Student Council or Class Officer Positions should get a nomination form from Mrs. Marani in Room 220 or Miss Smith in Room 208 .Signed nomination forms are due at the end of the day on Friday, September 16th. Open class officer positions for the freshman class are Class President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. 8 Student Council representatives will be chosen. You may run for both class office and student council representative. Speeches will be given to your classmates on September 20th in the Auditorium.

There will be a meeting for all Leo Club members in room 120 after school on Thursday, September 15th. Any one interested in joining the Leo Club and participating in community service activities should attend the meeting.
A reminder to all students regarding Cell phones, they have no acceptable use in school between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. They can and will be confiscated if seen out or used and you will not get the item back for a week unless your parent decides they want to come in and retrieve them.
Also, You must have your student I.D.’s. We will be checking for them and there will be consequences if you do not have it on you.
