Students have selected 2 pieces of their second quarter work for their portfolio.  They will complete their reflections on their work to update their portfolio work.

The library research on ancient civilizations is being used to complete student essays in class.  Most students completed their essay Thursday, January 24. None of this assignment was homework.

However, when mid-term exams are completed this week, students will again have assignments that may require some time at home.  Of course the more students read, the better they are prepared for class.  Therefore, reading is always encouraged.

Thank you for the generous gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.  There are so many books to enjoy and this certainly helps me select them!   Your support throughout the year has been the best--you are a wonderful group of students and I enjoy you each day.  I wish you all and your families a fun vacation and a happy new year!

All the extra 'goodies' were a bonus, too!

See you in 2008!

We have had a great start to the new school year.  Students are diving in and looking at World History with energy.  It is so nice to see everyone after the summer and continue where we left off.

Remember that SCHOOLNOTES IS A RESOURCE.  ALL STUDENTS MUST CHECK THE WHITE BOARD AT THE FRONT OF THE CLASSROOM AS WELL AS LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS IN CLASS FOR UPDATED ASSIGNMENTS AND DATES WHICH REFLECT DAILY PROGRESS AND CHANGES. Please follow the BMS Handbook for your responsibility for making up work when you are absent.
