Thanks for all the responses to send in the breads for the baking on Thursday. The children will experience the joy of making something to share with others in the true meaning of giving thanks for our blessings. This week we will also prepare for our Thanksgiving breakfast as we make our Pilgrim and Indian headband and hats to wear to the small breakfast on Novemeber 25. Thanks to Kyle's mom for coming to read to us on Thursday.
****Please remember in your prayers a former student of ours whose younger brother who has been diagnosed with a brain disorder and may need brain surgery. In the past many prayers have been offered on behalf of children in our school/parish with health conditions and they seem to do well. The power of prayers said by children and families seem to be extra special; so, please say an extra prayer nightly for this young boy and his family.Thanks!!

genre of literature-fantasy, reality (i.e. fiction/ non-fiction)
Math: numerals to 16; comparing numerals and being able to write numerals to 16
Science: magnets
Religion/ Scoial Studies: Circle of Grace:Safe Environment Curriculum: recognizing the importance of being safe in our world and also to respect others as we treat them fairly. The children will learn how to recognize an unsafe environment and how to bring their fears, concerns to a trusted adult. They will learn what the "circle of grace' is and know that God is with them in the circle.

Wednesday: Gym
Thursday: Music; baking bread
Friday: Library; Spanish; Show and Tell
