It's October and that means Halloween. The students are creating a variety of Halloween type crafts. Pre- K- 3rd grade have been making cute jack o' lanterns in many different ways. While the 4th grade have been painting pet rocks.. 5th grade up to 8th are busy drawing the human form by way of paper dolls or comic book characters of themselves.
This month the art history theme is N.C. Wyeth. We will be creating a variety of projects inspired by this famous artist.
On the subject of projects, some could become messy. It is a good idea to bring in a smock or apron to leave in school, just in case.
