The 2007-2008 school year at Gorton has started! I spent a lot of time this past summer searching for music to sing this school year. We started the year learning some new warm-ups and rounds and now we are into our concert music for December. We are going to start the year with the boys having their own part on many of the songs. Students will be split into three groups 1. Soprano (S) - females with higher voices 2. Alto(A) - females with middle to lower voices and males with higher voices 3. Baritone(B) - boys with middle to lower voices. I am excited to have a great group of boys again this year!

Please remember that chorus members are expected to attend at least one after-school rehearsal per quarter as part of their grade. CONCERTS ARE MANDATORY!!!!
We will be singing at the High Note Music Festival at Lake Compounce in Bristol, CT on Friday May 30th. The cost is $50 per child.
