We hope you had a healthy, safe summer. Here is some information that may be helpful to you at the beginning of the school year.
Debbie Gannon will be at St. Rocco's on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Amelia Lato our school nurse will be in the building to take care of the children daily from 9:00AM-2:00PM.
New students, Pre-K and K parents:
We are going through all the medical information that you have submitted for your child, however, if there is anything missing, you will be notified. Please be aware that immunization requirements change from Pre-K to K. Any information we request is required by the State Health Department. Remember, a physical is also required to be kept in your child's record. If you receive a notice, please respond with the information as soon as possible.
Grade 4 and 7 parents:
an updated physical is required for these grade levels, also a Td booster is required for grade 7
Medications in school:
Thank you for the cooperation for all medications that have to be administered at school. Whether it be a daily or emergancy medication, they both require doctors orders. All medication must be in it's original container with all the proper information on it. Many pharmacies will give an extra bottle or box for school purposes.
Upcoming Screenings:
We will begin vision screening within the next month, again, we will only notify you by mail if your child does not pass both our testing and Dr. Consiglio's testing.
Hearing testing is scheduled for Friday, November 30th and dental will be sometime in late fall.
Please update the nurses of any medical condition that may change for your child, especially allergies.
