Last week we began our Junior Achievement Program that is offered by volunteers in the community. The program lasts for 5 sessions. We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Bogonis, Justin’s mom, volunteering in our class. We began last week, and will finish this week.
In spelling this week, we will focus on VCV words. For homework I’d like the kids to write the words 2X in their best cursive, and also take a practice test with someone at home. I’d like the practice test to be handed in with their homework folders. In math I am sending home a chapter review test that we did a few weeks ago, just as review. I’d also like the children to give thought to an animal or country that they would like to research. I will talk more with the kids as the week progresses about what we will be doing with these topics.
