We have started the school year off with a bang! Students quickly learned the rules and procedures of first grade. They have generated a list of their own classroom rules which follow along with the school motto: Be Safe, Be Kind and Be Responsible.
We are working on reviewing previous skills in math and reading.
The favorite time of the day seems to be choice time. Children are able to play math games at this time and love to challenge the teachers. They are very competitive and often beat us!
We will be going on a pumpkin picking field trip late on next month. This is always a very exciting trip.
