The children are to study Chapter 5 for a test. All material needed should be in the Social Studies folder. We will be reviewing all information on Wednesday and Thursday in class. The chapter has many important people and inventions that they should be able to identify and match up.
Books I've Read notices will be going home tomorrow. Please do not send them back until May 1st. They should be reading the whole month of April and then jotting down all the books they have read in the month.
Our next project is coming up on a fable. These can be one page and I have many different ones to assign. More information will be coming home soon.

Sorry that there were no notes yesterday as we went to sign up to help at "We the Children" and didn't get home until after 7. The children did very well on the Social Studies Test today. We reviewed for the Science Test and I'm hoping for similar results.

It was great meeting everyone last night. There was just so much I didn't get to explain. One important thing I would like to ask of you is that you refrain from sending snacks with peanut butter. We have snack while we are working and, due to the many cases of peanut allergies in my class, the students with pb must go to the back table to eat. Many times I am still teaching a lesson and its hard for those children to listen from the back of the room. Lunch is no problem with the peanut butter. I thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
I messed up today as I forgot to send home the envelopes for this week. Please look for them tomorrow.
