WELCOME BACK. CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR STORIES ABOUT
YOUR EXPERIENCE IN ISRAEL.
Our scheduled will be as follow: Judaic Humanities on Wed. and Fridays. Hebrew classes on: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Judaic Humanities class: we will continue were we left off, and the film "The Hangman" is scheduled for this coming Friday. We will use "The Holocaust" by Seymour Rossel, as our text book. Homework activities will be assigned from this book.
Hebrew class: We will focus on learning about Eliezer Ben Yehudah, the revivor of the Modern Hebrew language. Homework assignments will include: vocabulary words, grammar topic, writing and reading.
Grade 7: Great performance on Yom Hashoah and Yom Hazikaron commemorations for the community and the school. Kol Hakavod !!
Well designed models of places in Israel were brought in . All students are expected to bring their project by the end of this week. We are planning to put these models on display at the JCC on June 1st, at the Yom Haatzmaout celebration.
Hebrew We will continue to focus on "Yerushalyim Shely". The homework assignments will include : Reading the story, writing,vocabulary, grammar and preparation for discussions.

Grade 6:
We are having great discussions on Israel history and current events. The the discussions around the text:
"Israel: Challenges and Triumphs" are interesting and the students demonstrate such knowledge that every class is a pleasure !!!
A test on the map of Israel is scheduled for tommorow. We will continue to focus on "Hadegel" , and the assignments will include: Grammar, vocabulary, preparation for discussions, and reading.
