Friday, Dec. 12 from noon 3pm, then taking van to The Time Machine in Manchester for a Holiday party, food included. We'll return by 9:30pm at the school. Students need rides home by that time. Permission slips will be available at the Simulation Club bulletin board in the cafe. They are due back signed by Dec. 10. You may want to bring a snack for the afternoon and some spending money for visiting the Time Machine as it has many different hobby supplies. See link above.

ELLIS CON XX was held on Saturday, November 15th, 2008; our TWENTIETH CON! We had the largest attendance ever with 118 paying customers through the door plus about 25 of our own members. We raised enough to pay the bulk of our weekend at West Point next Spring.
The club wishes to thank those who came out to help: Ms. Burr, Mr. van den Berg, Ms. Schroth, Ms. Church, Ms. Brunsdon, Ms. Ballard, Mr. Knisbaum, Pat Boulanger, Staley Tichenor. We are appreciative of GM's: Steve & Ken from the Time Machine, Vic, Dennis, Bob, Rob, Carl, Theo & Trevor.

Next year's Point Con may THE LAST WEEKEND OF MARCH OR APRIL. We are hoping to incorporate a visit to Fort Putnam that overlooks the whole campus and bend of the Hudson at West Point and which provided defense of the lower fortifications during the Rev.War. It has been restored to its stone walls with many examples of cannons & mortars and a detailed diorama of the Hudson Valley and its redoubts & forts.

This year's Activity Day (noon to two and you can take the bus home) will be staffed by Ms. Manning, Ms. Tarkowski and Mr. Haskell, so thirty (30) students can sign-up; we currently have openings for ten (10) more students so go to the office and sign up.
