Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Geography skills, along with continuing currents will be our final topics for the year.  Political Primary Booklets and Power Points were very informative.

5/5...5/6  Read Chap. 6 section 3 and complete worksheet due Wed/Thurs.

May Project     6th grade Social Studies       ABC Book      From  textbook chapters 1-7

1.  Brainstorm (done in class) people, places, ideas, special vocab of ancient history.

2.  Pick your words  A-> Z.  The words should come from from chapter 1-7 (do not do all from 1 chapter!).

3.  Write 2 or 3 sentences that define or explain each word from Ancient History that you chose

4.  Create a booklet          Hand written or computer

        Fold computer paper exactly in half

        Label each right side page with alphabet letter in top right hand corner

        Write alphabet word across top of page

        Draw or cut and paste a picture

        Write 2 or 3 meaningful sentences which may define, or describe the word.

        Create a decorative cover

Title Cover - 10 points

Over all Neatness- 10 points

Word choice- 26 points   1point each

Correct spelling of word chosen - 26 points  i point                      
                                               each

Pictures - 26 points   1point each

Informative sentences -  52 points (1 point each for 2 sentences)
  
Total points - 150 points    plus   ( 1 point extra credit for third  informative                                                              sentence )
