It is great to be back at school working with you. It will be an exciting year, specially now that we have a Spanish classroom. Parents, please feel free to stop by and become immersed in a cultural experience.
We have had very meaningful discussions about our goals for the year and the behaviors that will help us reach those goals. The goals and behaviors have been posted in the classroom so that we can refer to them throughout the year. I look forward to working with each one of you this year!
4th GRADE -
My goal this year is to expose students to the language and have them participate in a very active roll. So far they are doing great!
Unit: Los Animales
Students are learning about animals.

6th GRADE -
Unit: Mexico
In this unit students are learning about Mexican culture and traditions.
This week students are getting ready for the Cinco de Mayo party. They watched a video about it and are making piñatas for the party.
Students are also learning about verbs and its conjugations on the present tense.
Don't forget to bring the permission slip to stay after school on Monday and to prepare a dish to share with the grade at the party.
7th GRADE
Unit: Verbos
Students learned about past tense verbs and are practicing conjugating them.

8th GRADE
Unit: Los Reflexivos
Students are working on a project- Reflexive verbs
