Grading Breakdown:
Daily Grade: 30% of total
All assignments on log-
Class and homework as needed: 40% of total
Tests/Quizzes/Projects:
(Projects may be assigned as cross-cycles) 20% of total
Portfolio: 10% of total
GENERAL PROCEDURES:
1. Come prepared to Math Lab with note cards, calculator, homework and something to write with (pencil)
2.Students are expected to raise his/her hand to be recognized before speaking.
3. If absent or missed assignments, students may take work home to complete and/or stay after school to finish.
4. Extra help is available with us after school. Please ask at least one day ahead of time in order to assure we have no other scheduled conflicts. (Monday, Tuesday or Thursday)
5. One pass per cycle will be given for the lav. class. Students are expected to use the lavatory in shop prior to coming to math lab and to obtain drinks prior to entering class. Passes will be given out for
nurse or office.
8. Cutting class will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action. Any test/quiz missed due to a class cut will not be made up. A score of “0” will be recorded.
9. Students late to class are expected to have a pass. Tardiness without a pass will result in disciplinary action.
10. Students are expected to follow the school rules as outlined in his/her Student Handbook.
CLASSROOM RULES:
1. Be on time and ready to work
2. Be respectful at all times.
3. Keep your hands to yourself and off other people’s property
4. Behavior that disrupts the educational process will not be tolerated.
5. No eating, or drinking allowed.
