Plumbing & Heating Grading policy 2008/2009
Trade will be one (1) grade which carries a weight of 3 credits
Students in the 9th grade must pass trade to remain in the CTHSS.
Trimester exams will be worth 10% of your trimester grade, (Factored in through SASI).

Note: Having a driving license and transportation prior to graduation will increase the student’s chance of employment in the plumbing or heating field.
1. Come to shop daily and on time: There is a late writing assignment.
2. Have your uniform square at the beginning of homeroom. No outer jackets, no hats, no headgear. You may change 10 minutes before the end of the regular school day.
3. Enter the shop quietly at all times for homeroom after lunch related classes, and immediately take your seat.
4. Be prepared to work each day. You will have a loose leaf notebook, pencils scale, Pens related texts, and safety glasses (worn at all times during shop) and completed trade toolbox with lock.
5. Complete all homework. Incomplete homework will be made up after the regular school day.
6. Eat only in the cafeteria, no gum or candy chewing. Drink only from the bubbler. There will be no open containers.
7. Do not bring cards, radios, MP3s, cell phones, or laser pens into shop. (They will be confiscated.) A parent may retrieve them at any time.
8. Keep your locker and desk clean and in good repair. (No graffiti or long term storage of food)
9. Do not engage in physical, or verbal abuse or violence. Treat all others including yourself with respect. Any hazing, harassment, or demeaning of a fellow student or staff member may result with legal consequences beyond your teacher’s control.
10. Respect your school facilty and it’s grounds. You may be required to clean it, or pay for damage that you deliberately cause.
11. Give your full name, grade and shop on the first request to any teacher, substitute teacher or staff member who requests it.
12. At all times be civil to your peers and staff. No excuses. Treat them the same way you wish to be treated!
