Students are to...
• Come to class on time
• Self-initiate the ‘Problem(s) of the Day’ (POD) with homework assignment on corner of desk for evaluation
• Participate in review of the POD
• Take appropriate notes as given (as neatly as possible)
• Participate in class discussion/activity of the topic at hand
• Review main concepts/skills learned
• Write down homework assignment given

GRADING:
Tests and Projects 35%
There will be 1 (one) announced test per chapter and 1 (one) project per trimester.
Quizzes 30%
Quizzes may be unannounced and variable.
Class/Group Work 15%
This may include but is not limited to the completion of practice problems, questions and answers based on reading, note taking, etc.
Homework 10%
Homework will be assigned approximately 4 nights a week.
District Trimester Assessment 10%
All students are expected to achieve at least a 70 on each Trimester Assessment.
Texts, Notebooks, Calculator, and Pencils are required daily!
