Science I for Freshmen

Science I is a life science class that contains specific activities and topics to prepare students to take the CAPT test. Topics covered are basic chemistry, the cell, genetics, and evolution. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS!! Please complete Chapter 11 Vocabulary and your DNA project before you come back to class on January 24. January 24 - 31 During this cycle, we will be studying the structure of DNA and learning how DNA's code gets transcribed and translated into a protein. We will then look at how organisms can be genetically modified and why this is controvesial. Important Dates January 25 DNA Quiz January 30 DNA Test

Biology for Juniors

Biology reviews and extends some of the same topics students covered in their Science I class. It also covers human biology and ecology. January 24- 31 Shop Cycle Work 12.1 - 12.3 definitions
