Post high school planning should be seen as a process of developing self-awareness and setting short and long term goals. This process can be challenging, but should also be seen as an opportunity to plan for your future.
Your counselor will work with you as much as possible as you develop your post high school plans. However, the primary responsibility for developing these plans rests with you.
Keep this Guide handy and refer to it often. Take advantage of the many worksheets in the back of this book to make notes as you research your options and narrow your plans.
Graduation from high school is the culmination of twelve years of hard work and the beginning of the next phase of your life. We look forward to helping you prepare for this transition.
