SchoolNotes.com - Linking Educators to the Community
I hope you had a happy holiday season.  The new year often brings new resolutions and hope for improving ourselves.  My resolution is to provide the leadership necessary to make this school great! The faculty and I are continually working  to improve the performance of our students both academically and emotionally.  We will continue to emphasize the importance of students learning the skills to be good citizens and great people.  Our Teen Leadership program is a model for other schools to follow and aides in creating a positive school culture.

Please be aware of our school calendar changes during the Febuary vacation week.  Since we utilize snow makeup to occur during the Febuary vacation, we  currently have subtracted two days from that week.  As of today(1-17-08)we will have school on Febuary 21st and 22nd.

Our construction project is moving at an astounding rate.  We currently have opened our newly renovated culinary, automotive, and automotive refinishing trades.  Completion of the project will be in different phases with the final completion in the Spring of 2009.

As the Principal I want you to ask me questions and bring up issues you feel are important.  I will in turn post information on upcoming events, give construction updates, and give advice on various school issues.  Feel free to e-mail me and I will respond promptly.

We are in the process of accepting applications for prospective 8th grade students.  We have an open application process and accept applications at any time.  Any parent interested in having their child apply should complete an application. Contact our Guidance office at 203-596-4302 ext. 315.
