Square and acme thead in the same drawing style as UNC drawing on Tuesday

Create a presentation drawing from page 427 of simplied and schematic drawing as shown.

FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2009

Create assembly drawings of the following bolts.
Be sure to include the thread callout !!

Please remember the clearances for the tap drill, thread clearance at the bottom of the hole, drill end angle & stud clearance.

(1) two pieces of 1/2" steel held together by a 1/2-13 NC bolt & nut.

(2) two pieces of 3/4" aluminum 3/4-10 UNC cap screw with a hex head

(3) two pieces of 1/4" steel with a 1" piece of cast iron held together by a hex head cap screw

(4) two pieces of 1" copper held together by two 7/16-14 UNC studs

(5) four pieces of 1/4" steel held together by three 1/4-20 UNF hex head cap screws with a straight washer

(6) two pieces of 1/2" aluminum held together by a 5/16-18 UNF flat head screw

(7) two pieces of 3/8" cast iron held together by two 1/4-20 UNF round head screw

(8) two pieces of 3/8" steel held together by two 3/8-16 NC two Fillister Head screws
