---> ABOUT SMOCKS FOR THE YOUNGER GRADES:
If you haven't gotten a smock yet, the kind that works best is a long-sleeved regular t-shirt that's maybe one or two sizes larger than what they regularly wear. The men's business shirts don't work well because they're so enormous the shirt ends up dragging through the children's materials and smearing onto the art work. We do our best to keep those lovely uniforms as neat as possible! Also remember that on art days, the children may wear their gym uniforms if they like.
We'll be trying some new things this year! I always have links below to some of my favorite art websites that you may find interesting and educational. As often as possible I'll try to enter items going on in our area art scene. Because... "you gotta have art!"
