Hello!
Although it has been awhile since this page has been updated, our classroom activities and learning have been zipping along. The children have been active both within and outside (weather permitting) the classroom.
We are using our newly acquired skills to read simple books, we have been adding and subtracting, and we have delved into several fun and exciting topics in science. The days are flying, and I am preparing myself to say good-bye to a group of fascinating budding first graders. It is bittersweet.
Please keep your calendars up to date, as we have several activities to enjoy before June 18th!
May 20 (raindate 21)-We will plant our seedlings in the garden at FTS.
May 26-We will see a program encouraging earth friendly practices at FTS
May 28-We will visit FTS, including all of the first grade classrooms.
June 2 (raindate June 4)-Kindergarten Field Day
June 10-You are invited to an end of the year program in the kindergarten classrooms.
