Central dates to keep in mind:

June 17th: The ESP renaissance Fair will begin at 7 pm.  I am asking that participants and guests arrive at 6:45.

Debate PEP 4 (Day 1):  Our day and evening debates are scheduled for June 17th.

Debate PEP 5 (Day 1):   Our day and evening debates are scheduled for June 17th.

Logic 3 (Day 2):  Class is complete. If you have not already done so, email your article for The main Idea.

Mad Scientists 4 (Day 2):  Our Science projects will be displayed at the fair on June 17th.

Mad Scientists 5 (Day 2):  Our Science projects will be displayed at the fair on June 17th.

Math PEP 3 (Day 4): Math Quest booklets will be available at the ESP Fair.

Length: 4 paragraphs

Most of you are writing a comparison essay.

Paragraph 1: Introduction- Explain background and tell me what your essay is about.  What are you trying to prove?  This paragraph can have a quote, but it doesn’t have to.

Paragraph 2: This paragraph should be about Charley.  Tell me what happened to her.  Explain the losses she has experienced. Tell me why Coyote has become so important to her.  You should have a quote about Charley or her experiences in this paragraph.

Paragraph 3:  This paragraph should be about Coyote or yourself.  How is Coyote similar to Charley? Or, how are you similar to Coyote?  You should have a quote about Coyote or Charley.  It can be about on of their experiences or about their bond.

Paragraph 4:  Conclusion.  Restate what you think about Charley and the rest of your topic.  This paragraph does not need a quote, but it can have one.

Language PEP 5 (Day 3):  Final printout and email of novel is due June 8th.  Please turn in your novel if you haven't already.

Spacing: 1.5 spaced
Length: 12 to 20 pps, at least!
