Time is flying by!
We are into our third reading anthology!
The holidays will soon be here!
Please check with your child if he needs 3x5 cards, pencils, erasers etc.
Reading--We are continuing to work on blends which come at the end as well as the beginning of words.
We are reading the story of Stan's Stunt this week.
Spelling -We have a new list of words having blends
The list went home on Monday. It includes 3 bonus words.
Printing-We will continue to practice proper size and shape of letters. This week the tail letters will be practiced.
Math- We are working on related facts-how addition is related to subtraction-and continue to practice our facts.
Social Studies-We learn about the December holidays and continue to work on map skills
Science- We will continue our study on birds-those that stay home as well as some "strange" Birds and their habits.We will make those bird feeders. If you have not sent a plastic jug in, please do so. Also, please take off any paper from them.
Please send back the Read-at-Homes on Wednesday the 10th.
