5th grade Sports Project
Due dates:
Day 4- 4/9
Day 5- 4/20
Day 6 -4/21

Make a poster de Los Deportes.
It must have all the sports listed below.
Label each different sport in “Espanol” and don’t
forget to add the words
“Los Deportes” at the top of your poster.

You can use pictures from magazines, your computer,
or you can draw equipment to identify the sports.
Be creative, you can cut out your poster
paper in the shape of any type of sport equipment. For example: baseball, tennis racket, bowling pin etc.

Some sports we have learned about are:

El baloncesto
El tenis
El voleibol
La gimnástica
El esquí
La natación
La equitación
El boliche
La pesca
El patinaje

El boxeo

4th Grade - Animal Projects
Day 4 due March 16th
Day 5 due March 17th
Day 6 due March 18th

Choose one of the 5 settings we have learned about and show eight animals that live in this environment. Be creative! All animal pictures should be labeled in Spanish. You can draw the animals, cut out pictures from magazines, use stickers, print from the computer or use the animal pictures we used in class(please ask me for an additional copy). The environment you choose should be on the top of the white paper I gave you. Please remember to write everything in Spanish.

Following is the list of environments you can choose from:
forest-el bosque
Amazon-el Amazonas
farm- la granja
Sea-el mar
Insects - insectos
If you are using your own paper, please make sure it is 9 X 12.

Fifthe Grade Day 5 will have their quiz on Feb 17th.

We are learning how to say different shapes in espanol....we are still practicing our colors, numbers and we are making a book of colors!

First Grade

In first grade we are learning the different parts of the body. We have made a puppet to help us remember all our body parts.

Second grade
In second grade we are still practicing the alphabet and we are learning how to say words that describe things that you wear.
We are planning a fashiow show in espanol at the end of our lesson!

3rd grade
In 3rd grade we are learniing how to tell the weather...we are going to keep track of the weather like a meteorologist and then report to the class.

4th Grade
In 4th grade we are learning how to say all different types of animals in espanol. Animals found on a farm, pets, sea animals , bugs and so much more!

5th Grade Spanish casa project

Due dates: Changed due to snow day
                Day 4 January 9th, 2009
        Day 5 January 12th, 2009
        Day 6 January 13th, 2009

Requirements:

Pick one room in your casa and create
a  3D replica of it.

Be creative! You can use a shoebox
or construction paper but it must be 3-dimensional.

Label all the household items in Spanish
using the words we have reviewed.

Also, please make sure to look at pages 44, 45, 48, 49. Following are those lists of words.

WE are starting our color book and will be adding our number page to the book.

Practice spelling your numeros from 1-10.
uno , dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez.

Second grade

We are practicing our verbal conversation with three questions:

Como te llamas?
Como estas?
Cuantos anos tienes?

Practice the words that describe things in the classroom:
mesa, escritorio, lapiz, papel, pluma, tiza y pizarra.

3rd Grade classes- Students in the 3rd grade class can

We are learning all about Mexico!

4th Grade classes- Students in the 4th grade class can review numbers from 1-20 and their spelling, colors, days of the week, months and objects in the classroom.
ALso la fecha(date)and the right order to put it in. Ex: Hoy es (day of the week)el (day) de (month) de 2008. We are also learning about Espana!  

5th Grade classes- Students in the 5th grade class can review numbers from 1-100, colors, days of the week, months, and phrases from the sheet Comprendes? Remember spelling counts!ALso la fecha(date)and the right order to put it in. Ex: Hoy es (day of the week)
