ABOUT THE LIBRARY

MEDIA CENTER HOURS

The library is open from 7:30 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.
Special arrangements may be made with Mrs. Chew for additional access.

MEDIA CENTER RULES

Students MUST have a pass and a purpose to be in the media center.
Students are expected to be respectful of others and work quietly.
No food, drink, gum, or candy.
Please do not return unwanted books to shelves. Place them on cart.
Return or renew books on time!
CIRCULATION POLICY

RULE OF THREE: Three Fiction and/or non-fiction books may be checked-out for three weeks and renewed for an additional three weeks if no one is waiting for that book.
Magazines and reference books are for use in the library only and may not be checked-out.
Students will not be allowed to check-out additional books if they have overdue books. They will be allowed to use library books only inside the library.
Students will be required to pay for lost or severely damaged books.
We do not collect overdue fines; however, a hold may be placed on student's report card if book remains overdue when the marking period ends.

ATTENTION STUDENTS: Many teachers require you to read books for reader's workshop and having overdue books may keep you from checking out a new one. It is your responsibility to return or renew books on time so that you may continue to get books from the library!
COMPUTER PROCEDURES
Please sign in at the counter and have your login ID ready.
Do not disconnect any cables or move any computer parts.
Games, downloading, chatrooms, and e-mail are not permitted.
Do not insert any disks into computers (See Mrs. Chew).
Students may not disable restricted access software.
See Mrs. Chew before printing.
