The Middle Township Dance Step Team offers an opportunity for members to learn a variety of dance and step routines. We offer instruction techniques in the areas of Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical and Worship dancing. In addition, we also teach rhythm and step movements. The team meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 – 7 pm at the Middle School. We travel and perform at area high schools with United Young Generation during Black History Month as well as perform as special guests at the Friday Night Live Talent Show in January. Our main event of the year is producing and performing a dance recital for family and friends at the Middle Township Performing Arts Center in April. Everyone is welcome to participate. There are no auditions or try-outs. We encourage everyone to come out and be part of the fun.
The Step Team is a fun and positive activity for students who enjoy dancing with a twist!
Choreographed routines are shared with the student participants. The students practice to perfect the routines over the course of the year. The Step Team also performs step routines while chanting about the importance of
"STAYING IN SCHOOL"
and
"SAYING NO"
to drugs and alcohol.
At the end of our year together, we will present a show to family and friends to display our
TALENT, DEDICATION, and HARD WORK.

The Step Team will hold another candle fund raiser from March 13th-31st. Members should take the time to ask family and friends to support their efforts to raise money for the expense of their personal attire for the Spring Performance.
NO DOOR TO DOOR SOLICITING!!!
The funds will help to alleviate the cost of attire that will be purchased for our show. Each member will receive 50% of what they sell.
PLEASE MAKE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CHECKS!!!
ONLY CASH OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
