There have been a few changes to the Enrichment Education Program for this school year. This year, Fourth through Eighth grade students will meet as a pull out program once a week. Kingergarten through grade 3 will meet for whole class enrichment during designated marking periods. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Gd 2 Ecology and the Rainforest
Please send in a papertowel roll for a rainstick project
Gd 3 South American Geography and Culture
Many students recently completed their weavings. They are beautiful. We will now move on the the llamas.
Gd 4 Hands on Equations
Students are involved in a program called Hands on Equations. They are using manipulative pawns and cubes to solve two step equations. We have many mathematicians in the class!
Gd 5 SITE Student Inventions Through Education
Gd 6 Architecture and Bridge Building
Gd 7 Future City- an engineering and design competition
Congrqatulations to Grade 7 students for their hard work and persistance on this project. Recently, at the Future City Competition, the students won the Shell Engineering Award for Best Engineering Practices.
