Sophomore Class:
Students will continue to explore the tables in MS Word, while creating their own mazes. Students will also begin to create a Gossip Times Newsletter with cartoon characters. This will develop their editing skills.
Web Page Design:
Students will complete and finish their Movie Recommendation WebPage that they have created.
Microsoft Office:
Students are cont. to work on their Business Project activity. Part 3, Business Proposal and Part 4 Excel portion are due this week in class.
March 3 - 7 2008
Sophomore Class:
Students will continue to utilize MS Word Table funtion. Students will be taught how to create their own Word Search Puzzle and Mazes during the week. This is a fun way to get students to utilize the formatting skills in MS Word.
WebPage Design:
Students will complete their Prom WebPage and then begin to start on their "Movie Recommendation" WebPage. Students will be introduced to formatting techniques that will enhance their webpage design.
Microsoft Office:
Students will complete and print out their Award Certificate and Newsletters. Students will also be given their "Business Project" this week. This is an extensive Business Project that has five parts. Parts 1, 2, & 3 are in MS Publisher. Part 4 is MS Excel and part 5 is PowerPoint. All five parts are due no latyer than MArch 18, 2008.
February 25 - February 29, 2008
Sophomore Class:
Students will have a vocabulary quiz on Tuesday, Feb 26, 2008. In addition they will continue to work on table formatting in MS Word. The main assignment this week is called "Last Will and Testament Table" They are to include 15 teachers or cartoon characters in this assignment.
Web Page:
Students will continue to work on their Prom Web Page. They will take a vocabulary quiz Wednesday, Feb 27, 2008.
Microsoft Office:
Student will continue to work in MS Publisher. Students will be reflecting in a technology aspect on current democratic primary canidates using MS Publisher. Students will also take a quiz on Thursday, February 27, 2008.

Sophomore Class:
Students will be introduced to Word Art and Tables in MS Word. Students will complete several activities that reflect tables and Word Art.

Students are currently creating their own Summer/Winter resort web page.
Microsoft Office:
Students are working in MS Publisher and creating a newsletter with several articles. They are also working on creating greeting cards and inviatation cards.
January 29 - February 1, 2008
Sophomore Class:
Students this week will begin with MS Word editing tools. To include: Bold, center, underline,bullets and formatting clip art pictures on a active document.
WebPage Design Class:
Students begin a introduction to MS Frontpage. Students will begin to research a health/science topic of their choice. They will utilize this research and place their work with a single page template web page.
Microsoft Office:
Students introduced to MS Publisher. Students will begin to create their personalized logos that markets them as individuals. Students will use these logos throughout the semester. This week students will also create a business card and a greeting card in MS Publisher.

Program. They will create their own individual calendars and place their Midterm exam schedule on this calendar. They will also create a Newsletter using all the strategies we have learned suring the course of this class.

Open up a MS EXCEL spreadsheet and create a Christmas Party invitation spreadsheet that includes at least 10 names (last name first). The names should be in Alpha Order. The labels should include Name, Address, Phone number, and Date/Time of Christmas Party. Use a complete header with your name, date, and assignment name. Please include grid lines and format the cells the way you think it looks attractive. You must highlight the background of your title and include clip art. It should look similar to your Holiday Budget assignment.DO NOT PRINT.

**Students will complete and print out the Start-Up Activity "HS Fails..." Students will continue to work on their Holiday Budget Project and print-out this assignment.

Senior Class:
***The first PPT that was completed in class will be reviewed and graded.(African Slave Trade) Students will begin a new Start-Up Activity titled "Lawsuit of Cookies..." In addition student will continue to work on their disabled PPT. It will be due this week.

Sophomore Class:
**Students will begin a Start-Up Activity on an article titled " HS Fails to Engage HS Students". In addition student will continue with the MS Excel Program, while learning how to format active cells, utilize the formula bar to sum equations. Students will complete thier average charts and begin to work on their HOLIDAY BUDGET. This activity will incorporate all the skills the students have learned about MS EXCEL.
Seniors:
**Students have completed their PPT on the country of their choice and begin to present to the class. Presentations will be graded on a rubric that students were handed out. Once they are finished new PPT Projects will be handed out. This project focuses on a famous disabled person
November 26 - November 30
Sophomore Class:
*** Students will utilize the Average Equation and create their own average chart with 15 student names and 6 seperate assignments. In addition they will learn how to merge and format cells within a spreasheet. Students will also have new vocabulary words and homework that will assist them in learning these new terms.
Senior Class:
***Students will be finishing up with their start-up activity which is an article on HS students and student engagement in the classroom. They also will continue to work on their Powerpoint presentation on the country of their choice. They will finish them up this week and start their presenting on Wednesday, November 28, 2007.

This week we will be addressing formula functions such as, SUM, MAX, MIN, and AVERAGE. Students will create a database spreadsheet that will formulate students average. We will complete one as a class together, then they will be required to complete an individual spreadsheet.

*** Students will currently continue moving towards addressing the EXCEL data base program. A tutorial web site will be posted to allow students extra help in this area. We will continue with this program for the next two weeks in class. Students will learn basic functions related to the EXCEL program. (In addition any all make-up work must be turned in before November 8, 2007)
Senior Class:
*** Students will be working on their powerpoint presentations related to the country of their choice. They are in the process of learning basic skills that reflect PPT. A tutorial is posted on the web page for additional help in this area.
October 29 - November 2
Sophomore Class:
**Students will be completed their MS Word table "Crossword Puzzle" assignment, along with their Teen News Letter.
**Students who missed the Vocabulary Quiz will be completing their quiz.
**In addition students will begin an introduction to the Excel program.
Senior Class:
** Students will begin an introduction to the Powerpoint program. Students will watch a United Streaming Video on the "African Slave Trade", and then begin to research this significant historical event, and construct a PowerPoint Presentation that will consist of 4 slides.
**Students will use this beginning Powerpoint presentation as a foundation to learning this program.
**Students will also complete the newsletter titled "The Power of Study Groups" in MS Word.
October 22 - 26
Sophomore Class:
**Students will be taking their vocabulary test on Friday, October 26, 2007. Students must turn in their typed vocbulary words prior to the test. It is worth 20% of their grade.
**Students are currently working on a Newsletter start-up activity during the course of the week that is titled "The Power of Study Groups"
**In class they are currently creating individual crossword puzzles, using technology words. Students will creating this in Microsoft Word and inserting a table.
Senior Class:
