We will continue with wonderful year of Writer's Workshop! The 4th marking period will focus on author's choice.
The basic philosophy behind the writing workshop is to allow students to spend time writing for real purposes about things that interest them. Students can experiment with a variety of genres. Students learn the craft of writing through practice, conferring, and studying the craft of other authors. The ultimate goal of a writing workshop is to develop life-long writers.
We will also continue with our fantastic literature circle groups!
Publish an additional writing for extra-credit!

Did you get below a 70 on a recent test (or quiz)? Raise your grade back up to a 70 by correcting your test. Place all test corrections on a seperate sheet of paper and attatch it to your test. This is an outstanding way to improve your knowledge and raise your grade too! Please see me for extra-help if needed.
Join Ms. Nuara for her weekly math support meetings. Gain extra knowledge and extra-credit for attending!
