Please keep the information distributed at the September Parent Meeting in a safe place. You will need to refer to it often during the year.
In September your child receives supplies to start the year. As your child consumes these supplies please replenish them.
Study Skills are important. At home your child should have access to such reference resources as a dictionary, a World Atlas, and an encyclopedia.
Please remember that Religion, Reading-Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies have a specific vocabulary that the children need to use and apply. Vocabulary words must be studied.
Addition, and Subtraction facts should be memorized by now.
When ordering Scholastic books please remember to write your child's name on the book order slip and please double check the total. Since each club bills separately, please remember to write a separate check for each book club. Lucky, Arrow, and sometimes other book clubs are distributed to provide for varying interests. Please write the child's name, club name, and the amount on the outside of the envelope.
MPB School participates in the Box Tops for Education and Campbells' Labels for Education Also, our school collects used ink cartridges. Please consider asking family and friends to help us and check if you have any of these at home. Please send them to class. These two websites will provide additional product information.

Please remember the Holy Childhood Association. Our
children have supported the Holy Childhood Association very generously in the past and our school has received awards recognizing their efforts. The size of the donation is not as important as understanding the needs of others and that these needs are dependent upon the open hearts of others to respond.
Please review prayers, The Sign of the Cross, and Mass responses with your child, as well as, to pray with reverence.
Most importantly, remember to attend Mass Sunday.
