                            Author Study

  For a final book report, I will be having the class create an author study.  For this project, each student will select an author from the list below and read three books by this author.
  In the past I had students complete three book report forms and an author information sheet.  I decided to try something new this year.  Instead, I would like the class to have finished the three books by May 5th and then teach the class make PowerPoint presentations in school of his/her author.  I think they might enjoy using the laptops and making their presentations.
  For now, please select an author for this project and start reading!  The rest will be completed in class in May.  Thanks again for all your continuing cooperation.
