Wow!! We are galloping through our fourth quarter! This year has been very exciting and challenging. Our school year is continuing to race at such a rapid pace.
I am enjoying working closely with you and your child through numerous activities across all curriculum areas.
There are two field trips coming in May and June. May 30-Blydenburgh Colonial Village
June 10--The Whaling Museum
The cost for these two trips is $22.00. Kindly send in the payment together with the permission forms by May 19th.
Please continue to review these key reminders to help your child achieve his/her full potential:
*nightly review of multiplication and division facts
*use of reading strategies to improve comprehension
*independent reading of varied genres for pleasure and
record--the "Book-a-Roo" Reading Incentive Program will end on May 22nd. Please send weekly timesheets
*kindly check folders daily for important notices,
assignments, tests to be signed, etc.
*PLEASE CLEAN OUT FOLDERS at the end of each week
*continual support and praise to promote independence
All the state tests have ended!!! I am proud to say that the students did perform their best. Thank you for reviewing and reading with your child.
