This year has certainly been very exciting, challenging and rewarding. My students have developed more responsibility and gained greater independence as they progressed throughout the year.
It has been wonderful working so closely with you and your child throughout this year to encourage their success. Many activities and interesting topics were addressed in all curriculum areas. As this year is rapidly coming to an end, I am delighted with the progress that my students have shown. I have set positive goals so that every student will achieve success as a life-long learner and continue to grow.
Here are some helpful reminders to help your child continue to achieve his/her full potential:
*continued practice of multiplication and division facts throughout the summer
*independent reading of various genres for pleasure
*continue to check homework folder every night for notices,assignments, tests to be signed, etc. At the end of the week, PLEASE CLEAN OUT!!
*Have your child bring a healthy snack daily
*Every night, the homework/assignment pad MUST be signed.
*Continual support and praise to promote growth
I have certainly appreciated all of your efforts to encourage your child to demonstrate greater responsibility and independence.I am pleased with the growth they have shown and wish them every success in the Memorial Middle School. Solid work habits and strong foundation established in the elementary school will promote success as each child advances through the years. Thank you for your all your support, guidance and encouragement!! Parents and teachers always working together make for a winning team! It is my intention to make every child feel SAFE, SECURE and SUCCESSFUL and prepared for the next step of the learning ladder. Have a wonderful safe summer!
