Students often ask what can they do to raise their grades in Math class. They should:
1. Do all assignments and make up missed work.
2. Take make up tests and quizzes with scores below 80%.
3. Do extra credit packets (points added directly to their average for the quarter).
4. Come for extra help- available every Thursday and most Tuesdays after school.
5. Ask questions in class.
6. Keep your notebook up to date( don't wait until the end of the quarter).
7. Review often( not just before quizzes and tests).
8. Set a goal for yourself and work towards it.
9. Do Math homework first( before you get too tired to finish).
10. Keep yourself healthy and well rested.
11. Make sure you are prepared for class.
12. Do extra Math work- use computer programs and web sites that offer practice for free for students.
