I am setting up this web page in an effort to communicate with you on a regular basis. However I am not making any promises!
Important Information:
** PLEASE put all notes or money IN your child's folder. I promise I will find them there! We are very busy in the morning and I do not have time to check backpacks. ALL money including snack money on Fridays needs to be in a labeled envelope (not in wallets, pockets or backpacks).
** It would be helpful if you discussed the lunch menu with your child and discuss what he/she would like to eat. We have to order our lunches before Morning Program this year and if he/she already knows their choice it would make ordering go faster.
Mr. M and Ms. T have joined our class and are making themselves right at home. We have also been working in literacy centers. The children are learning the routines for independent practice of skills we learn as a class during center time.
We are beginning discussions about rhyming words. This is a difficult concept for some children. You can help by talking about rhyming words and playing rhyming games. We are learning about our names and the lines used to make letters (down, over, tip, hump, "C", and around).
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please call, write a note or now you could email me. Please note- I will not be able to check my email daily so send anything time sensitive in a note or a phone call.
