-Life skills:
-6th graders have started a unit on bullying.
-3rd and 4th grade life skills will begin this month.
-Mrs. Kirkpatrick will be working with Mrs. Hext and I during some of our life skills classes to help promote healthy choices and to educate students on other health issues.
-We have a new Catholic Charities Counselor this year. Her name is Lindsey Hall. She will be working with students individually, in groups and in the classroom.
-Banana Splits groups have begun. If your child is still interested in joining please call.
-Mrs. Hext, Mrs Dahlin and I are advisors for the gifted and talented program. We will be offering the following programs:
-Healthy bodies/Healthy minds-walking and team building program for 4-6 graders
-Math facts, fiends and phenon
-student council
-challenging minds
