-Life skills:
-6th graders are working on communication skills. They are currently developing skits on how to deal with uncomfortable situations.
-5th grade students are developing anti-smoking posters and commercials.
-4th grade life skills is beginning this month.
-clasees for 3rd grade will begin after state testing in the Spring.
-Mrs. Kirkpatrick will be working with Mrs. Hext and I during some of our life skills classes to help promote healthy choices and to educate students on other health issues.
-Our Catholic Charities Counselor this year will be in the elementary school two days a week. She will be working with students both individually and in groups
-Banana Splits groups have begun. If your child is still interested in joining please call.
-Mrs. Hext, Mrs Dahlin and I are advisors for the gifted and talented program. We will be offering the following programs:
-Healthy bodies/Healthy minds-walking and team building program for 4-6 graders
-Math facts, fiends and phenon
-student council
-challenging minds
