Hi! I hope everyone is getting through this "Old Fashioned Winter." We made it through the 2nd marking period. Report cards were given to the students today.

Speaking of science, things have been quite busy in our classroom. The fifth graders just finished a unit on animal reproduction and genetics. We are now working on our ecosystems unit. Next week we will be dissecting owl pellets. Yum! Yum! Always a class favorite.
The sixth graders are working on our unit on the atmosphere and weather. Meteorology has always been a favorite of mine, so we will be going over several weather factors and weather forecasting.
