Blood Drive @ Fort Plain High School is Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 9:00 AM till 2:00 PM. Please call the high school office to schedule an appointment to give blood. Positive ID is required. Sixteen year old donors need signed Parent Permission forms.

There will be a dance tonight from 7:00-10:00. Ticket price is $3.00 for Fort Plain students and $4.00 for guests. If bringing a guest please sign them up in the main office.

6 Hour Defensive Driving Course is being offered at the Fort Plain High School Tuesday 11/10 and Thursday 11/12, Monday 12/7 and Wednesday 12/9.
At the Javac building in Johnstown Tuesday 12/15 and Thursday 12/17.
All sessions are scheduled for 6 PM – 9 PM, and have a $40.00 fee. Pre-register by calling 518-993-2387 ext 111 or 518-321-9249.

SPORTS:
The Cross Country teams list to be excused today will be posted on the teachers email. The girls’ soccer game is Saturday, @ Broadalbin-Perth @ 3:00 PM. Tickets are $6.00.
The Cross Country team will be excused @ 8:15 AM today to compete in Sectionals @ Saratoga State Park. They are responsible for any work due or assigned that day.

SAT Dates Follow. Remember even if a college does not require the SAT or ACT
for admission they may use the scores for other purposes (scholarships/placement) and keep in mind that some scholarship applications require SAT or ACT scores.

Elks National Foundation Scholarships: Legacy Awards are available to the children and grandchildren of active Elk members who are seniors and are going to college. Information is available in the guidance office and applications are available at www.elks.org/enf/scholars. Legacy Award is only available online and must be completed online by January 8, 2009.

Dorothea Deitz Memorial Scholarship: Eligible to female students who are planning to major in Physical Education Teacher Education. More info is available in the guidance office. Application deadline is March 1, 2010.
