"The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money,or the most awards, they simply are the ones who care the most."

Homework:

Math: 41B

Spelling:  none this week or next week

Social Studies:  Chapter 3 test will be on Monday, November 23rd.  Children should be studying their notes and the review section in their books.

Projects:  Native American project will be due on Monday, November 23rd. Jesse tree Christmas ornament project sheets have been sent home.  If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. They are due on the Advent day that has been assigned to each child.  The Bible quotes went home on Wednesday for you to use in designing your ornament. Also December book report projects have been sent home.  These will be due on Monday, December 14th.  Books have to be approved by me first.

Upcoming events:no school for the children on Friday.

Reminders: the human resources committee is collecting non parishable food items for the Penfield Food Cupboard for families in our area.  All donations are greatly appreciated.  These items will be distributed to families for Thanksgiving.  Also any donations of hats, gloves/mittens, scarfs, unwrapped toys, or non parishable food items would be greatly appreciated for our Christmas service project.  These items will be brought to the House of Mercy and distributed to needy families in the Rochester area during the Christmas holidays.

Our heart felt thanks to all the parents who made our Thanksgiving Feast such a wonderful success.  Without your continued support events like these would not be possible.  The children had a wonderful time.  It's occasions like this that they will hopefully remember for a long time to come.

Have a great evening!

Mrs. Castronova
