Out of Uniform Week - students may dress out of uniform all week. Please no tank tops or spaghetti strap tops. Also, please make sure your child dresses appropriately for Tuesday. This day is our 6th grade Sending Ceremony in church. It is a special day to say good bye and good luck to our sixth graders.
This year has been a year filled with growth, both academically, spiritually and emotionally. It has been a year with many new families and faces, along with the familiar ones. This time of year is always bitter sweet for me. I am excited about completing another year, but also sad because my class will be leaving me for a new adventure in 2nd grade. For many of you, this will be your last tour of first grade as your youngest child is finished with 1B. I feel a part of your families as I have seen ALL of your children grow, some to high school age. (WOW! Have I been at St. Joe's that long?)The students have learned so many new things. I have truly enjoyed teaching your child and getting to know each and everyone of them. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach and learn from your children. Have a wonderful, relaxing summer!
