Catholic Schools’ Week was awesome! It was so wonderful to see many of you at Open House. I want to thank Mr. Barber, Mrs. O’Neill, Mrs. Spatorico and Mrs. Germani for meeting us at the bowling alley and helping out. The kids had a terrific time. Also, I want to thank all of the families that purchased books for our classroom library. The books are already on the shelves!
We will have a normal week of homework and tests. The children will have Math and Spelling sentences each night. We have added to our sentences; at least 7 words and one has to be an adjective. We will have a Math and Spelling test on Friday.
Please make sure your child has his/her quilting materials. The squares need to be cut out ahead of time. Parents should do this part because the squares need to be the same size. We start quilting on Thursday morning in our class and some of us will be in Mrs. Ward’s classroom. If you can help, please join us from 8:15-9:15 a.m.
This week’s “Star of the Week” is Michael Dedee. We learned that Michael’s hobbies are baseball, kickball and sledding.
Thank you for your continued help and support.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Nuijens
