These next few weeks will go by very quickly. We have off on Wednesday, for Veteran’s Day. Next week we will be having our Student Led Conferences. I am looking forward to meeting with all of you. By now you have been given your day and time. If for some reason you need to change it please let me know soon.
On Tuesday we will e having our next Class Mass. We will be going over to church at 7:55 a.m. as mass is at 8:00 a..m. Please feel free to join us if you like.
This week we will be having spelling and math homework each night. We are only in school for four days therefore there are no vocabulary words added to our spelling words. On Thursday we will be having our Chapter 2 test in science. The children should study the pages in the book and their worksheets in the science folder. On Friday we will be having a spelling and math assessment.
This week we will be spending time in class preparing for our Student Led Conferences. The children will be presenting their work and goals to you. It proves to be a very effective tool for assessing their performance. It is amazing how honest the children are. I have already seen so much growth in your children and am so proud of them for their hard work.
This week Evelyn Sims is our “Star of the Week”. Eelyn is a wonderful student and is always very quietly doing her best. Keep it up Evelyn!
