We are now forming a Middle School PTO here at Trafford.

Parents of present 5th, 6th,and 7th graders are welcome to attend.

Kennywood tickets will be on sale Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Trafford Middle School for students. The cost of a Funday Pass is $19.00. Cash or money orders only will be accepted as payment.
Parents may only purchase tickets at the Warrior Center from 8:30 until 12 Noon on Thursday, May 8, 2008. This is the only day tickets will be sold.
Representing TMS at the Lions District Talent Show on May 9, 2008 will be vocalists Tessa and Lexi Ives. The girls were selected by the Lions as their 1st Place winners during the Friday, February 29, 2008 show held during school.
Permission to ride home on a different bus is given only in the case of an extreme emergency and approved by the principal, Mrs. Garner. Please call the school if you are in an emergency situation.

PARENTS: When it is necessary for your child to have an early dismissal, please send a written note to school with the student. They should drop off the early dismissal note in the office as soon as they get off the bus in the morning. Please include the first and last name of the student on the note!! Include in the note: First and last name of student, date, homeroom of student and time to be dismissed. Parents must come into the school to sign the student out for an early dismissal.
SPORTS PHYSICALS 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR
Penn-Trafford will conduct free physicals for student athletes for the 2008-2009 school year on Thursday, June 5, 2008. To receive a physical, students must have the entire multi-colored packet completed and signed by a parent. No photocopies are accepted. Forms will be available in the office of the high school and middle schools starting May 1, 2008.
7th Grade athletes will report for 7 AM.
8th Grade athletes will report for 8 AM.
9th Grade athletes will report for 9 AM.
10th Grade athletes will report for 10 AM.
11th Grade athletes will report for 11 AM.
12th Grade athletes will report at Noon.
Doors will close at 12:45.
IMPORTANT MEETING FOR ALL POTENTIAL ATHLETES:
Informational Meeting Informational Meeting for all parents of athletes in grades 7 thru 12 for the 2008-09 school year about the NEW MANDATORY PIAA Athletic Physical requirements. If your son or daughter is remotely interested in participating in a middle school or high school sport next year it is suggested you attend. The meeting will be held in the High School Auditorium on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 7:00 PM.
2008 Athletic Physical Schedule This year there are new rules and physical forms adopted by the PIAA and Penn-Trafford School District. The forms will be available in the main offices of the middle schools and high school, as well as the PTHS Athletic Training Room, on May 1, 2008. Please complete ALL FOUR PAGES of forms and return them to your child's respective school by May 16, 2008 in order to be eligible for a free physical exam and orthopedic screen on June 5, 2008 at Penn-Trafford High School.
