Fifth Grade is now working on Chapter 14, "Newton's Laws of Motion." We will be completing worksheets and labs for this Chapter and the test will be on Wednesday, May 21st.
Sixth Grade will be completing Chapter 3, "The Solar System". They will be learning about the sun, the planets,comets, meteors and asteroids. Our Field Trip is scheduled for May 14th. We will be completing this Chapter and having the test on Tuesday, May 20th.
Seventh and Eighth Grades students are working on and discussing Chapter 19, "Optics." The test will be on Friday, May 16th. This will be their last test!
All the Science classes will be tie dyeing a T-Shirt as their last Science experiment. Every student should bring in a white T-Shirt. We will be doing this experiment on Tuesday, May 27th. The students may bring in their T-Shirt any time from now until then.
It has been my pleasure teaching your children this year. I really enjoyed getting to know all of them. The year has just flown by and I will always remember fondly my year here at St. Germaine's.
Please make sure that your child is wearing the proper gym attire to class on their gym day. Please remember to bring a water bottle to school on yourgym day as the days get warmer.
Eighth Grade is continuing on in their Religion book. We will be working on finishing this book before the end of the year.
