* For Algebra 1, a simple scientific calculator is fine....be sure it does exponents. You will also need a binder of at least 1 inch for assignments/notes/handouts. These will be checked. Also your work should be done in pencil.
* For Algebra 2, same as above, but you may want to purchase a graphing calculator (this is optional for this course, but if you think you will be taking trig next year, watch for sales so you get accustomed to the technology). I would suggest a TI 83 plus or the TI 84 plus. These will get you through anything we will do and will work for the beginning of college. They also have a USB connection so you can download applications from the TI website. They are also permitted on the SAT's. You will also need a 1 inch binder for notes/assignments/handouts etc. and PENCIL for your work.
* For Trig/Stat. You should have just about everything from previous classes. You will find Stat(second semester) MUCH easier if you have a graphing calculator. Watch for sales....
