This is a short update, but wanted to send the words and sentences again for this week.
Fun with Fish--the last story of our 2nd reader. The vocabulary words: away, food, funny, hide, how, many, some, their. The spelling words are: ship, shop, shot, wish, dish, dash, for, more, be, try. The bonus words are: pilgrim, Indian, and Thanksgiving. The sentences are: Dash and try the shot. I wish to shop for a dish. The test for this story will be Tuesday, November 24, 2009.
Next week our story will be I Am a Butterfly. Our test will be on Friday. I will send home the spelling list on Wednesday.
Tuesday is our feast. I sent home a food request last week which is due tomorrow. We will be watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and enjoy our feast.
Just to let you know, I will be out on Wednesday to get another cortisone shot.
