Welcome to St. Bernard's Preschool! It has been great seeing all my old friends and meeting so many new ones. It felt like only yesterday we walked through the door for the first time. Now we are pros and have weeks under our belts. In the past weeks the 3's have been busy learning the routine, making friends and learning their names. Next on the agenda was colors, colors, everywhere and triangles circles and squares! On September 22nd we took the leap into Fall! We are celebrating this wonderful season with songs and finger plays about squirrels, falling leaves, apples and much much more. In the days to come we will have alot of fun painting paper leaves, creating fall trees out of toilet paper rolls and doing puppet shows with our finger puppet squirrels. We will also learn what God's creatures are up to by reading books and lots of imaginative play. So if you ask your child what they did in school and they say NOTHING, you'll know better!
A few reminders, Picture day is Tuesday Oct. 6th. Don't forget the envelope marked with the package of your choice. If you choose not to have your child's picture taken they will just take one for the year book. Also,Thursdays we go to the bikeroom. Please make sure your little ones wear safe shoes.
