I enjoyed seeing many of you at our Halloween party. The children looked great and had fun at the parade and party. A special thank you for all of the hard work and great food.
A few reminders:
Ice cream will be for sale on Wednesdays and Fridays during lunch period. There will be a variety of items priced from $.50 to $1.00.
Please remember to send your decorated Thankful Feather to school by this Friday.
Througout the month, I will send home class books that we have written. Please enjoy the books, initial and then return the following day so that another student can take home.

Reading
We will introduce the letters A (we did not get to A last week) and C. Our new friends are Andy Apple and Callie Cat.
We will be forming many words with the letter A, beginning with the "at" family. You may notice your child hand signaling or pulling out the short "a" sound when blending words. Do not be alarmed. This is part of our Project Read reading supplement. Ask your child what other vowel hand signals he or she knows.
Our Popcorn Words this week are - is, at, and & purple.
Math
We will work on graphing and number sets of 1-5.
Religion
We will learn that God speaks to us quietly.
Science & Social Studies
Tuesday is National Sandwich Day. We will learn about sandwiches. We will also continue our activities with leaves.
